Apple iTV Seemingly Confirmed By Foxconn’s Chief Terry Gou … ‘Book It’

If you needed more confirmation that Apple is planning on launching a television, listen up. The Apple iTV, as it is being called, recently got a daring confirmation from Foxconn’s Chief Executive, Terry Gou. According to the report, Gou states that “Foxconn is making preparations for iTV, Apple Inc’s rumored upcoming high-definition television, although development or manufacturing has yet to begin.”

So from the land of sports, that’s as much as a “book it” as we’re going to get until Apple makes it official. Even with that announcement from Foxconn’s Chief, there still remains a blank date on when the iTV would hit the market. Some have it this year, with others claiming it’ll launch in 2014. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see how much it affects the current market.

Thoughts?
