In a rather exciting blog post, Sony announced that 3 new games are coming to PlayStation Home. To be honest, these are the kind of experiences that Sony should have been delivering in Home from day one. The first of the bunch is available to play now, Cutthroats: Battle for Black Powder Cove which is a pirate themed online multiplayer that is teamed based all inside PlayStation Home. You can be the captain or the gunner in a massive game of constant battles and earn booty from sunken ships. Those interested can play Cutthroats: Battle for Black Cove from the Adventure area of PlayStation Home.
The next game coming up in Home will hit around Spring 2012 and is called No Man’s Land. Said to be PS Home’s most ambitious title yet, it is a post-apocalyptic third person shooter, featuring up to 4 v 4 squads in Team Death Match or Scavengers mode. The game will be showing off two features “Cover to Cover” movement and “Tru-Aim”. They plan to support new expansions in the game’s future.
And last but not least, Mercia will launch in Summer 2012. It’s an online RPG where you can solo or team up with others to adventure through Mercia’s high fantasy setting collecting, creating and fighting super natural enemies. You can collect items, create armor, weapons, and more. For more information on all of these titles, you can see the official blog here.
