Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is on its way for Wii, PS3 and 360. While Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion is due to hit the 3DS. All good news, but one thing appears to be missing from that list, at least according to Warren Spector of Junction Point, the developer of the Epic Mickey Games.
Spector told GameInformer, in regards to an HD Epic Mickey; “I will tell you I desperately want to do it, and other than that I have no comment at this time, I just think it would be cool for people to see where the story started, so we’ll see. We sold many millions of copies of [Epic Mickey] on just the Wii, and being on the Wii was great. It was a perfect way to reintroduce Mickey as a hero in video games.”
What do you think? The first Epic Mickey was pretty well received on Wii, although it did have some camera and control issues. Would you buy a spruced up PS3 or 360 version of the game, or will you be happy with the sequel?
