Battlefield 3 Patch Bringing “Server Rentals” To Consoles, PS3 Anti-Aliasing And Tons Of Bug Fixes

DICE has announced that the next game update for Battlefield 3 will be available on PS3 on March 27th, with Xbox 360 and PC to follow soon after. This patch includes many gameplay tweaks and balances that fans have been asking for. This update will also bring the “Rent a Server” functionality to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The developer promises to reveal more details about this shortly, but we can only assume that it will provide the capability to do what it says and that should make for more stable gameplay that is much more similar to the kind of experience that you get on a PC. If EA can get this right, I would expect franchises like Call Of Duty and other FPS franchises to follow suit. On a personal note, it’s nice to see PS3 get something early.

Normally we post the patch notes in the post for you, but this one is just huge so you can check out the full patch notes for yourself if you like. As soon as we know more about the “Rent A Server” feature we will let you know, until then keep it locked to ZoKnowsGaming for your latest Battlefield 3 news.
