Assassin’s Creed III Multiplayer Being Handled By Ubisoft Annecy
And social media let’s the cat out of the bag again. It seems that stalking looking through Twitter profiles, folks noticed that in Tim Browne’s Twitter profile, recent addition to Ubisoft Annecy, noted that developer listed himself as the Lead Game Designer for Assassin’s Creed 3 Multiplayer. Well it doesn’t get any more conclusive than that now does it folks. Now before you panic and think this is going to be another one of those Deus Ex type debacles, Ubisoft Annecy has been delivering the multiplayer component of the game since Brotherhood. They are also the same folks who did the multiplayer in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory so we would say that you have nothing to worry about.
This is a bit of a leak since to this point Ubisoft has only officially announced that Ubisoft Montreal was working on the title, but not at all unexpected since Ubisoft Annecy has been doing it through the last two titles and improving each time. The juicy rumor this time around is that Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer will feature 4 player co-op play, but at this point that has yet to be confirmed.
