Mass Effect 3 Ships Over 3.5 Million Copies Worldwide
As of today, over 3.5 million units of the award-winning game have already shipped (not sold) worldwide in its first week of release, making Mass Effect 3 the first pop culture event and the biggest entertainment launch of 2012. The game has actually sold an impressive 890,000 units so far. Even the controversial day-one DLC “From Ashes” was a big hit with most gamers, an impressive 40 percent of people who bought the game also bought the DLC and at only $9.99 who could blame them.
Mass Effect 3 thrusts players into an all-out galactic war to save mankind from an ancient alien race known only as the Reapers.
