The South Korean nation has a very different games culture to the rest of the world, with professional players treated like movie stars and several TV channels devoted solely to showing games of Starcraft II. They are also very fond of their cutesy RPG’s, and the 360 will very shortly see a prime example hit the Live Arcade.
Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall of Hendon Myre is a console version of the popular PC title Dungeon Fighter Online. So far news is slim, but we know Microsoft themselves are publishing the title and that it will launch at some point later in the year. We are also promised 720p (well….duh!) and the familiar control system, which seems odd for a title based on a PC game. Having not played Dungeon Fighter Online though, perhaps it does indeed support the 360 controller for Windows. Not strictly speaking an RPG, the game merges side-scrolling beat-em-up elements with a side order of role playing aspects. Could be tasty.
