Ubisoft has finally confirmed that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier will launch in North America on May 22, 2012 and in Europe on May 24, 2012. The game will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, and for Windows PC at a later date. A multiplayer beta will be available in April for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I was starting to think that this game was vaporware or something. I mean we have seen tons of screenshots, some amazing trailers but up until now nothing definitive on when we would be able to actually play it. This will be the first truly tactical shooter we have seen in a while, should be a good one.

Adrian Lacey, IP development director at Ubisoft Studios France has confirmed that the game is feature complete in multi-player, single-player and four-player co-op campaign modes. They made the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience. Keep it locked to ZoKnowsGaming over the next few weeks as more elements about the game will be revealed in the coming weeks.
