God Of War IV To Have Online Co-Op, Good Move Or Not? [RUMOR]

Share And Comment

You heard us right, the latest rumors are indicating that the next God Of War game will have an online co-op mode. Now I love co-op gameplay as much as the next guy, but not in my God Of War. The thing that has made all the previous God Of War games so compelling is that it was this epic singular journey that players embarked on where they had to persevere against all odds. It was you, a mere mortal, who became a god and then a mortal again that would see you bring the fight to the very doorstep of Olympus itself. It was just you, no gimmicks, nobody to bail you out.

[Possible Spoiler Alert]

The latest rumors come courtesy of PSM3, the same UK magazine that reported last year that the next installment would be released this year. Now they are setting the internet ablaze again with the rumor that the new game will have an online co-op mode that features both Kratos and his dead brother Deimos. According to the full rumor we would see the brothers teaming up to escape the afterlife. This isn’t all that far-fetched since we all know that not even hellĀ  or wherever he went could hold could hold Kratos.

God Of War 3 was one of the best games of 2010 and all us PS3 players are just itching to find out what’s next. Stay tuned and we will keep you in the know.
