Trine 2 has been looking very good and thus there has been tons of buzz about the game since we got our first look at it several month ago. Today, we found out that we won’t have to wait long to get our hands on Frozenbyte’s sequel to what turned out to be a surprise hit. Trine 2 will actually release this week for PC and Mac, but the PSN version won’t be far behind.
We have now learned that the game will release on PSN December 20th, which means that Frozenbyte will keep its promise of delivering the game this year. Honestly, that’s a tough time to release a game like this with the holiday and then the whole Star Wars: The Old Republic wave coming. The original was a very good game and I just hope that the sequel which looks good so far isn’t overlooked due to everything else happening around the same time. The game will be full of side-scrolling action while testing player’s ability to solve puzzles that require the strategic and smart use of the game’s three classes, a knight, a thief and a wizard. The game will be very affordable at $14.99 and should not only be a great change of pace but tons of fun.
If this game is anything like the first one (which it is), then the game is best enjoyed via co-op either online or local. So who’s got this one on their radar?
