Apple TV, Dubbed iTV, Set To Launch In Three Different Sizes By The End Of 2012 With Siri Integration

Apple will launch an actual TV by the end of 2012 in three distinct sizes, and be offered with your favorite assistant, Siri. This predicted revelation comes from several sources/rumors that have surfaced recently.

We’ve already heard what Steve had to say about television – “I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use. It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud. It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.” So maybe now it’s all coming together.

According to the reports, the screen sizes for the TVs will be 24-inches (still a mystery), 32-inches, and 55-inches. Additionally, as mentioned earlier, the Apple TVs will have a deep integration with Siri. However, all of this may cost more than you would expect to pay. As stated in the report by Smart House,

“Munster said that the new product was likely to come in a range of sizes, but that they would retail for twice the price of an equivalent set. He claimed the premium would be justified by the comprehensive integration with other Apple services and the cloud, whether that was via either a standard remote, voice control via Apple‘s new Siri ‘personal assistant’ or apps on the iPad or iPhone. Use of Siri might allow the device to respond to commands in natural language, such as “Watch Channel 7”.

And just in case you were wondering about the name and availability, Gene Munster also reports that the TV would be called iTV and launch in the U.S. in 2012 around the holidays.
