NBA 2K12 Web Site Finally Launches…Mostly

So its been over a  month since NBA 2K12 came out and the game has been absolutely crushed by major glitches and delays, the biggest of which may have been a brand new website that was supposed to be your one-stop shop for all your NBA 2K12 stats and info. When the game released, the website still wasn’t live and for the past month has had nothing but a coming soon holder page. Today without much fanfare at all, 2K finally launched the website though all the functionality isn’t available yet.

You can of course login with that My2K account you were forced to set up, if you can remember the password that is. Unfortunately, as far as I could see there is no “forgot password” button or option on the website so if you can’t remember what it is I don’t know if you have any recourse to reset it at this point which is just sad. You can check out any video or screenshots you have uploaded, track friends’ activity, view information from multiple ongoing ‘My Player’ careers, connect multiple social accounts like Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook. You can even submit questions to the developers. I’ll give you one guess what my question would be?

A lot of the content seems to not be completely up to date yet and the Online Association tab still bears the anger inducing “coming soon” label. At this point the site and functionality was already late and there was no real rush to bring the site online so I would have rather them took another month and delivered the site with all the capability. But hey until then you can check it out for yourself at www.nba2k.com.
