Although we generally remain focused on the PlayStation family here at ZKG towers we also like to bring you the hottest news on releases for other formats. One of the biggest properties on XBOX 360 is Alan Wake and we should be hearing more about its follow-up soon. To whet your appetite however the first screen shot for the game has been released thanks to Game Informer.
More on Alan Wake: Night Springs will he shown off at the games official announcement during the Spike TV awards next month, but for now all we know is that the game will be downloadable only, although it will be treated as a full retail release. As you can see the same mixture of spooky Twin-Peaks-esque town and torchlight action seems to be the order of the day which would suit most gamers just fine.
Alan seems to have ditched his trademark hoody and jacket combo in favour of the ubiquitous checkered shirt and T-shirt look. If you remember Night Springs was the name of the fictional TV show that was broadcast on TV’s dotted around the place in the first Alan Wake game, which seemed to increasingly find themselves influencing Alan’s ‘real’ life. Will the game take place within this world? Does the ‘Desert Shore Motel’ sign indicate we may see a different locale than the Pacific Northwest? Unfortunately it seems that the title will remain 360 exclusive, but PS3 owners can keep hoping. More info will be revealed at 8pm EST on the 10th December, so remember to check out the Spike awards,
