Yesterday it was reported that the co-founder of Siri, Dan Kittlaus, has decided to leave Apple. This comes after the launch of the iPhone 4S, which actually brought Siri to the world. As soon as I got that tidbit of news, I wondered what this guy could bring to Google. After all, Google has been hearing our voices for quite some time now in the form of voice search and navigation. If you add that database with Siri’s technology, you might get the ultimate personal assistant.
But not so fast, ZKG! Kittlaus is actually leaving to spend more time with his family, so his plans may not include working with anyone. However, as was further reported, Kittlaus wants to brainstorm more ideas. Why not brainstorm them at Google?
I’m sure Google will respond quite well in this arena, but why not do this with a guy who has been successful. Why not reinvent an already reinvented invention like Apple would? #justsayin … Siriously
