There seems to be some issues with the Catwoman DLC that came with all brand new copies of the game or should we say was supposed to. There have been multiple reports of the voucher codes being invalid, already redeemed, or downright missing. To be honest, this was one of my major concerns with all the elaborate DLC things Rocksteady was doing with Batman: Arkham City. The game seems to be getting great reviews on its core components, it more than likely didn’t need this kind of DLC to augment the story. For all the issues its now causing, Rocksteady may now have wished they hadn’t gone this route.
In any case, check out what Warner Bros. said about fixing the Catwoman DLC issues:
‘Since Tuesday’s incredibly successful launch of Batman:Arkham City in North America, our customer support team has received a very small number of calls/emails (less than 0.5 percent of total units sold) regarding Catwoman codes either being invalid or not included in the game packaging. While the number of affected versions is very small, WB Games apologises for any inconvenience this has caused and we are committed to getting these issues resolved as quickly as possible.
All who are experiencing any issues with the game are requested to contact WB Games customer service Department by calling (410) 568 – 3680 , emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting community.batmanarkhamcity.com/support. All matters will be handled promptly ‘
There have also been additional reports about even more issues such as when you finally do get the Catwoman DLC installed and working, it corrupts your save file and we know how frustrating that can be. Hopefully, Rocksteady can get this figured out quickly, until then I would hold off on installing either the Robin or the Catwoman DLC until there is clear guidance from Rocksteady that it won’t corrupt your game save or cause freezing which has been reported by other players.
