The whole world seems to have gone DLC crazy lately, with every new release accompanied by various pre-order bonuses and a myriad of downloadable levels, extra characters and outfits. The latest title to fall prey to this trend is the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham City, due to hit a console near you next week.
We already brought you news of the Nightwing pack, which will enable you to play as the titular pint-sized hero. That DLC is scheduled to hit on November the 1st, and will also bring with it a couple of new challenge maps and an animated series skin for Nightwing.
The Best-Buy bonus content will then be made available on November 22nd to all consumers, costing $6.99 and containing more challenge maps and skins, as will a further unnamed package on December 6th. Finally a ‘Joker pack’ will also be made available to download at a currently unknown point which will enable you to play as the clown price of crime himself. That’s a whole lot of DLC right there.
For those wondering how they can get their paws on the leather suit of Catwoman, (yeah, me too.) a voucher will be included with every copy of the game which can be redeemed for the unlockable feline villain. As this is a one-time only voucher it will serve the function of the online pass we have heard so much about lately.
