It’s no secret that the nation’s fourth largest wireless carrier did not get the iPhone 4S. However, it’s still business as usual for these guys. Today, T-Mobile officially made available the HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II. And in case you didn’t know, both of these devices are packing a big punch.
The HTC Amaze 4G will cost buyers $259.99, and feature a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), HTC Sense 3.0, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Oh yeah, the screen! 4.3” qHD. And of course, the HTC Amaze 4G will be capable of accessing T-Mobile’s HSPA+42 network.
The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S II will have an even larger screen. We’re talking a 4.53” Super AMOLED display. Just like the Amaze 4G, the Galaxy S II can access T-Mobile’s fastest network – HSPA+42, and will feature a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM. On top of all that, there’s Touchwiz. The Galaxy S II will cost buyers $229.99 on a two year contract.
We all know that the iPhone 4S will be launching on the larger three carriers in the U.S. this Friday. While there may be a little resentment there, T-Mobile customers can still be satisfied with these two new powerhouses, that do a lot better than the iPhone 4S.
