In an interview with ASCII that was translated by Andriasang a SCEJ spokesperson seemed to confirm the PlayStation Vita’s 20MB cap though we will keep an eye on this one as it wouldn’t be the first time things have been lost in translation. The rep went on to say that it’s not necessarily locked in stone and that the file size limitation could be changed or removed altogether at some point in the future. The rep went on to address concerns about 3G’s 128Kbps download and 64kbps upload speeds possibly being too slow for some games by saying  that Sony is providing software makers with support to ensure that titles that don’t suffer any negative effects because of the limitations. Not sure how they plan to accomplish that but we will see.

The PlayStation Vita is out in Japan December 17th, but before you think about importing it you might want to read this.
