46 Year Old Man Gets Pwned And Taunted By A Teenager In Call Of Duty: Black Ops, Finds And Strangles Him

So this one is just nuts I don’t know how else to describe it, I mean you can’t make this stuff up. 46-year-old Mark Bradford was in the middle of an all day Call Of Duty: Black Ops PS3 session (Bradford is unemployed) when things seem to have gone awry. Bradford was apparently getting pwned and mocked viciously by a 13-year-old boy and he decided that he would not stand for such a thing and proceeded to track down his digital bully. Turns out Bradford didn’t have to go far because the boy was at a friend’s house and he just happened to know where the friend lived. Bradford stormed over to the friends’ house to do…well it is not exactly clear what he planned to do. As things went, the friend’s mother came in to find Mark with his hands around the boys’ throat strangling him. Luckily for the boy too because if she hadn’t we might be reporting a much different ending to this story. In the end, the teen came out of the encounter with only a scratch and Mark came away with an assault charge.

Bradford’s explanation, “I’d been playing the whole day and he was baiting me and just would not shut up. I just lost it. In a moment of madness I went round to the house. I didn’t know what I was going to do. It wasn’t malice. I just grabbed him. I’ve seen him since and apologized. The injuries weren’t that bad but I do regret it.” For Mark’s part he did take full responsibility for his actions and will face whatever penalties await him.

For my part, I hope people see this for what it is which is an isolated incident by a  foolish and perhaps disturbed individual. This shouldn’t turn into a discussion about violent video games because lots more people play these games and never hurt one single REAL person. Let this be a lesson to all you Black Ops players out there that like to talk smack, make sure the target of your taunts doesn’t know where you live.
