Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9” WiFi Model Gets Priced, Starting At $469 In The U.S. … But Is That Too High?

Well if Samsung is planning on launching the Galaxy Tab 8.9” in the coming days (let’s say Thursday), it’s about time they have revealed the pricing for the WiFi only models. For starters, the 16 GB WiFi model will cost customers $469. For another $100, you can grab the 32 GB model for $569. While I can admit the pricing is slightly better, I have to ask, “Is it still too high?” Let’s just face it, the iPad or the iPad 2 are still viable alternatives, if not better alternatives. We’ve already seen what the right price could do for the HP TouchPad. So why not give the Galaxy Tabs a price that sets them up to compete and move off the shelves. I’m thinking $349 and $449 respectively.  Maybe I’m wrong, but I think you will agree with me! We’ll see what Black Friday has in store for us this year!
