If you’re going to make a sequel to a great game, and for the matter, the fastest selling title in your pedigree, it had better be good. This final developer diary video for F1 2011, which is “the sequel to the fastest-selling FORMULA ONE game ever, F1 2010”, appears to indicate that it will be that good. The video features “new gameplay footage, updates specific to the 2011 season and the long-awaited Safety Car.”

So without stealing the thunder of the Safety Car, Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), which gives players an acceleration boost to launch out of corners, and the Drag Reduction System (DRS), which adds acceleration for overtaking rival cars, I’ll let the video go ahead and do the rest.
