The Madden NFL 12 Week 2 roster update went live Friday Morning and there well over 500+ transactions and player rating adjustments that went into this update for the online rosters. The biggest movers from Week 1 on the positive side are TE Scott Chandler (BUF) with a 10 point boost this week (now 73 overall), DT Henry Melton (CHI) going +6 to 73 overall, and CB Aaron Berry (DET) going up 6 points as well to a 60 overall. Some of the biggest movers on the negative side are QB Kerry Collins (from 77 to 75 overall), DT Kelly Gregg (from 83 to 80 overall) and Donovan McNabb (from 82 to 79 overall). Personally, I don’t think that the drops for McNabb and Collins were big enough, they both looked completely inept last Sunday, they each should have had at least a 5 point overall drop in my opinion.
They did show my boy Cam Newton some love and bumped him up to an 81 overall (+4, previously 77 overall) after his record-breaking debut performance in Week 1 against the Cardinals. This actually highlights that the drops for Collins and McNabb weren’t severe enough, if Cam can move up +4 for playing so well in contrast they should move down more than that for playing so poorly. They did induct a Aaron Rodgers into Club 99 after his performance against the Saints and at least for now Troy Polamulu fell out of the club but just by one point which I’m sure he will get back.
We won’t insult by displaying the whole list here, so hope on over to the official EA Sports page to check out every single change in the Madden NFL 12 Week 2 roster update.
