Dead Island DLC Faces Possible Delay, Techland Puts Full Attention Toward Squashing Bugs
The Dead Island team has revealed that they are putting their full attention into fixing some of the major bugs that have plagued the title, specifically those after the 1.01 patch which we have documented extensively. We always like to hear that kind of thing out of a developer, though this one has a catch. The catch is because they are diverting resources to address some of the major issues with the game, it MAY affect the schedule of the game’s DLC, both the one’s we know about and the one’s they haven’t announced.
“Right now the Dead Island development team’s priority is working on fixes and updates across all platforms so that we can take care of all of the fans who have been so supportive of our game,” a spokesperson said “There is some awesome DLC content planned for Dead Island, but first we have to put all our focus on the base game experience.”
Earlier in the week Techland released a patch for the 360 to address some major issues with the game but PS3 gamers who seem to have been suffering more are still waiting. The patch is meant to fix multiplayer connectivity issues, autosave issues, and a bunch of other minor problems. No hard date on that PS3 patch unfortunately.
