Blizzard Planning To Ramp Up Production

Are you getting as tired as me of waiting for Diablo III? The dungeon hack ‘em ‘up is swiftly becoming the next Duke Nukem Forever, with release dates being set and canceled like trips to the bottom doctor. Well, once the interminable delays are over for Bilzzard’s biggest game you wont have anywhere near as long to wait for more goodness.

Don’t get too excited though, we aren’t about to exclusively reveal Diablo IV or anything, instead five further releases within the next three years will consist of expansion packs World of Warcraft, Starcraft II and, yeas Diablo III. So before the game has even been launched we are already talking about it’s first expansion!

The news of Blizzard’s road map for the years ahead was delivered by their CEO, Thomas Tippl during the Citi 2011 conference. He carefully only mentioned the six ‘proven property’ releases, leaving hope that as well as these expansions and the megabomb of new Diablo, we could also be seeing a new IP from them in the foreseeable future.
