Battlefield 3 Team Deathmatch To Be Limited To 24 Players On All Platforms, PC Players Not Happy

According to the fansite, BF3blog the folks at DICE have revealed that in Battlefield 3’s Team Deathmatch mode the maximum number of players will be limited to 24 players across all platforms, including PC. Now for console players this won’t be a major issue, but for PC players they live for huge numbers of players and will probably be a little bit ticked. Sorry guys, no 64 player battle royales in this one. Believe it or not this is actually the first time Team Deathmatch mode will appear in a core Battlefield game, though its surprising as the Call Of Duty franchise has made mode infamous famous.

But all is not lost, PC players will still enjoy higher player counts in at least the Conquest mode where we know there will be up to 64 players. Battlefield 3 also features several other modes including Rush, Squad Deathmatch, Squad Rush and co-operative play but we aren’t yet sure as to the player limits for those modes.

Battlefield 3 is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in late October.
