If you have never heard of Metro: Last Light, you owe it to yourself to check out this video. Up until now we have just shown you short clips but THQ has finally released the full demo video. It’s only 12 minutes out of your life, and you may find a shooter with more originality about it than a truckload of Battlefields and Modern Warfares.

This is about as bright as the game gets

Although technically a sequel, the first game (Metro 2033) was only released on PC and 360, and there is no need to be filled in on any missed story. Basically you’re a bad-ass who lives in a post-apocalyptic Moscow Subway system, now go and kill stuff. The game in all its Russian speaking, grimy glory, will be released next year on 360, PS3, PC and – oooo – Wii U.
