Konami has finally confirmed that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will make its PSN debut this September.  To sweeten the deal, Konami is going to be throwing in maps Beauty, Desire, and Situation Dire along with the downloadable characters Julius and Yoko.

In case you aren’t up to speed on what is in store in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, ZKG has provided you all with a quick once over:  This classic vampire hunter, 2D side-scrolling adventure features characters from throughout the series that have come together to destroy a cross-section demonic bosses.  Joining forces with your favorite vamp killers, also known as your friends, up to six players can explore the massive levels that have obviously been directly inspired by the worlds of classic Castlevania titles.   (Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia.)  Players can use their cooperative skills to unleash combination and devastating attacks, all while fighting the forces of darkness. You will also discover hidden locations, special items and equipment to help in your quest.

Like most things Castlevania this outing promises to provide a unique experience for players who have enjoyed the series and provides for plenty of on-line and off-line co-op modes to enjoy.  Castlevania: Harmony of Despair drops in September, stick with ZKG for actual release details coming soon.

I started gaming when it was nothing more than green screens and clunky keyboards. Today, I play everything and anything that provides for a gaming experience. Good, bad, indifferent, and some times even ugly. I'm here to tell you whats up.
