Since its release almost a year ago (time flies when you’re waving around a phallic symbol!) the PlayStation Move seems to have carved out a nice niche for itself and certainly hasn’t become the failure many were predicting. A combination of fun light gun games, Move only exclusives like Sports Champions, and Move control options in blockbusters like Heavy Rain and Killzone 3 mean there has been no shortage of reasons to dust off the multi-colored orb and get waggling. Yet another good reason will be on its way soon in Ninja Gaiden 3, but this time you had better come ready for a serious workout.
Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja said that; “Ninja Gaiden 3 is all about slicing and chopping through flesh and bone and PlayStation Move bring players even closer to the game’s protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. The game will be compatible with all Move peripherals and it will feature full compatibility with this exciting new hardware.” It sounds from that comment like the navigation controller and Move can be used in tandem to play through the whole game which should be a fun experience, if a little taxing on our flabby muscles! If nothing else it may also give us an idea of what to expect in Metal Gear Rising, which is rumored to offer a similar control setup. Ninja Gaiden 3 will be released early next year as the hardcore gamer’s way to lose those holiday pounds!
