Ever wanted to be in a video game?  (..the answer is yes if you’re following us on a daily basis, I know this.)  Well Activision, GameStop, and PROTOTYPE developer Radical Entertainment want to make your dreams come true.  True fans and gamers alike have the opportunity to become an in-game citizen of New York Zero.  Well, we let you know earlier in the week this was coming, now it’s time to get down to business and “get in the game!”

“Thanks to this great partnership with Activision and GameStop, we have an incredible opportunity to offer gamers something truly unique,” said Ken Rosman, Studio Head, Radical Entertainment.  “In addition to just seeing themselves in the game, the winners will actually be able to locate their virtual selves and shape-shift Sgt. James Heller into their likeness.  Radical wouldn’t be where it is today without our fans, and this is just another way for us to thank them for all their support.”

So, how do you get in on the action:

1.)    Be 18 years of age or older (sorry kiddies!)

2.)    Pre-order PROTOTYPE 2 at your favorite GameStop before September 1, 2011. (or one you hate..that’s none of my business.)

3.)    Go online and enter the random drawing to win a trip for two to Radical Entertainment in Vancouver, Canada (..it may seem likes it’s the U.S….but it’s not..check a map.)

4.)    Win and become a New York Zero Citizen! (okay..so we can’t control this…)

..well hopefully more than a filled in outline of you anyway

If you still are looking for more details be sure to check out the low-down at GameStop:www.gamestop.com/collection/prototype-2

PROTOTYPE 2 is currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation3, Windows PC.  The game is currently rated “RP” (Rating Pending) by the ESRB, with an expected “M” rating.

I started gaming when it was nothing more than green screens and clunky keyboards. Today, I play everything and anything that provides for a gaming experience. Good, bad, indifferent, and some times even ugly. I'm here to tell you whats up.
