Possibly in response to Google+ announcing their gaming line up, Facebook has released information about its plans to make its games both easier to play and find.
The new features will include achievements, high scores, and a separate stream displaying what your friends are playing. You’ll now be able to play some games full screen. According to Facebook, titles such as CityVille, Zoo World, Monster World, and Mystery Manor should have this feature within a few days. A new bookmark feature has also been added to keep your favorite games handy on your homepage.
There will also be new privacy options for the games. Jared Morgenstern of Facebook wrote “You can now control who can see these stories for each individual app in your settings. If you want friends to see you’re playing one game but not another, you can change that.” The option for privacy is always a good thing, and we’re glad to see they adopted this new feature.
How do you think this will stack up against the options and games presented by Google+? Leave us a comment, we want to hear what you have to say.
