Here is a reminder for everyone anticipating the August 30th release of Madden NFL 12 – the demo is available today for you to enjoy through the Playstation Network and Xbox Live. This demo will feature the Chicago Bears hosting the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field in five minute quarters, with the option for you to choose the difficulty level, and also the option to use Conventional or GameFlow playcalling. Just in case you were wondering, the Packers/Bears matchup is sort of a replay of the NFC Championship a year ago.
Additionally, users will get to experience a new feature dubbed Dynamic Player Performance, “which replicates each player’s traits and tendencies, as they rise and fall, based on their on-field performance during a game.” For those fans who were excited or upset by free agent dealings from either of these teams, you’ll be happy or sad to know that the rosters do not reflect any changes made in free agency. However, when the game launches, “a full downloadable roster update that reflects all recent player changes will be available in the final, retail version of Madden NFL 12 when it launches on August 30th.”
So download this demo already and come back and let us know how much you love or hate it. Surely, it won’t affect your buying decision, but if it does, let us know! And don’t forget that EA SPORTS Season Ticket subscribers will get to enjoy Madden NFL 12 three full days early on August 26th (6pm EDT). For more information, check out the news release below.
