Well I can’t say that I am surprised here – Google’s Chrome browser is still the fastest available. I mean really, have you not switched to it yet. Okay enough about that! Today Gomez, a benchmark division of Compuware, released its’ latest finding on browser comparisons. The tests performed measured load times and render times for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer on broadband connections, and were collected over one month. I’ve spilled the beans a little, but still head on down and check out the results of their “real world” tests. I have to admit, Firefox surprised me, but I expected what I got from Internet Explorer. Which browser are you using?
Update: Blue Bar = Load Time, Green Bar = Render Time (“amount of time it takes for the visible portion of the page to load in the browser”) —– And yes Firefox outperformed Chrome in render time, but Chrome has already released a newer version #justsaying
