There certainly are a lot of rumors swirling around about the current financial status of Team Bondi right now. (L.A. Noire fame..or in this case..not so fame-ish..) Though little official has been uttered by either Team Bondi and/or KMM Studios, there does seem to be a fair amount of support for the theory that Team Bondi will be rolling their name up under KMM Studios via a purchase to take place in the near future. According to employees at KMM, they have spotted Team Bondi head Brendan McNamara waltzing around KMM Studios over the past few days.
Though there is a certain amount of theory here to support a sale of Team Bondi to KMM Studios, the actual financial status of Bondi is up for grabs. Sadly, L.A. Noire just didn’t fly off the shelves as it was highly anticipated to do so, which is too bad as the game offered so much new tech and feel it seemed a shoe in for success. Ah, but the video game market place is a cruel master at best and all the tech in the world couldn’t seem to save it from failure when it comes to market sales. To further it’s disappointment there are equal rumors afloat that Depth Analysis, the company who provided the ground breaking facial tech (MotionScan) used in L.A. Noire, is also looking to bum a buck or two from friends.
Needlessly put, change is afoot.
