Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games’ widely appreciated and lauded western epic, is to set to release one more set of DLC in the shape of the ‘Myths & Mavericks’ pack which will arrive in September for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Upon its release the pack will be free for everyone to download and includes new “fan-favorite multiplayer characters” and additional locations for a number of the game’s multiplayer modes. Red Dead Redemption’s multiplayer is great fun to play and this extra DLC pack should ensure it gets played for a while longer yet.

The game was critically acclaimed upon its 2010 release

The DLC, according to official website of Red Dead Redemption, is intended to be a “show of appreciation for the awesome long-term support for the game’s multiplayer modes since its release in 2010”. Is Rockstar finished being nice to you yet? Of course it isn’t as they announced that in addition to the DLC, a new title update is also planned for around the same time, allowing Undead Overrun players to return to the mode’s original settings.

So look out for this DLC in September and the title update so hopefully you can have some more multiplayer mayhem in the old west.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
