EA Sports has just revealed the demo details for Madden NFL 12 and its interesting to say the least. The demo will feature the Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. This is the real Solider Field too folks, EA Sports finally worked out the details to be able to put the authentic stadium in the game, in recent years it has been a poor replica. As previously announced, the demo will feature five-minute quarters but we found out during the announcement that there won’t be any commentary in the demo. The explanation for this from EA was that the commentary takes up so much memory and would have added to the demo size. Personally, I understand the issue and I can live with no commentary especially since I should be getting my full copy a week later, hey I never said this job didn’t have its perks. Many of you have asked about rosters, they will be outdated with the whole NFL lockout issue. We expect that there will be a launch day update to bring the rosters up to date as much as they can be when the full game launches August 30.
So there you have it, the demo actually drops August 9th for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
