Konami Says Silent Hill HD Collection Will Drop In Either September Or October

Share And Comment

The Silent Hill HD Collection has not been given a release date by Konami but more of a release ‘window’ of September or October so keep your fingers crossed that this must have package will drop in that time frame. The remake is being developed by Hi Jinx Studios and is a re-mastered collection that combines survival horror games Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 with 720p high definition graphics. Now tell me that the previous sentence didn’t make you wish it was September/October already because I certainly wish it was.

I'm looking forward to this so much it's unreal

Also found in the Silent Hill HD Collection is an updated voiceover, directed by series vocalist Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and a soundtrack score enhancement. Full PlayStation Network Trophy support integration has been added for all you gamers whose experience is defined by getting such things. Both games were previously released on PlayStation 2 and I have been waiting patiently hoping that these games would find their way onto the PlayStation 3 and I’m glad that they have.

This will be a definite day one purchase from me but what about you? Will you be getting the Silent Hill HD Collection? What other games do you want to see remade in HD? Please leave your opinions in the comments section below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
