It was confirmed today at Comic Con International 2011 by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment that the character of Talia al Ghul will be voiced in Batman: Arkham City by Stana Katic, who will be best known to most people as the star of the ABC series ‘Castle’. “Talia is such a complex character and it was great to voice her in Batman: Arkham City,” said Katic regarding her role in the game.  “I was amazed at all the detail put into the project and it’s great to see how excited the fans are about the game.”

Talia al Ghul is the now-estranged daughter of the supervillain Ra's al Ghul

Batman: Arkham City sends players soaring into Arkham City – five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum – and the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. The game will be set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City and draws together a new, all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

This announcement continues the momentum of the game as it heads towards its October release and I have to say that this game is looking amazing and I wouldn’t be surprised if it tops quite a few Game of the Year lists. Batman: Arkham City will be out in October 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
