Fast Draw Showdown Moseys Onto PSN

OK, gun-slinging hands up cowpokes, who remembers Mad Dog McCree? The arcade game featuring lifelike (for the time) FMV video was released to unbelieving gamers back in the early 90’s and spawned a number of sequels for its developer, American Laser Games. Now one of those later titles, Fast Draw Showdown, is set for release on the PSN next week.

Yet another shooter that utilises the Move controller, this western themed classic has you lining up against a rogues gallery of outlaws and gun totin’ saloon girls in a quest to find who has, you guessed it, the fastest draw. Differentiating itself from last years Wii-Ware version, this new port of the game features several exclusive features, including online leaderboards and multiplayer options. As is becoming common these days as well, Playstation Home avatar clothes and items will be unlockable as well.

Any wannabe sixshooters will want to check out the PSN store update next Tuesday if they want to pick up the game which will sell for $9.99.  Wallpapers, a dynamic theme and avatars will also be available. Yee-Ha!

I'm a UK based gamer, as well as being more obsessed with video games and Doctor Who that any adult has a right to be. I keep telling myself I will grow up one day, but certainly not if I can help it.
