The new protagonist for BioShock Infinite has been revealed on the recent cover of EGM. Booker DeWitt, a disgraced Pinkerton agent.
Previously the protagonists of BioShock have been faceless and if the footage available on BioShock Infinite games to date (which is very much like its predecessors in the fact that it will be a first person shooter) I doubt we will see a great deal of his face in-game apart from cinematic cut scenes.
Kevin Levine on Twitter has confirmed that the front cover of EGM is a homage to X-Men omics, Uncanny X-Men #141- the first part of the classic Days of Future Past storyline. The popular arc tells of a dystopian future in which mutants are herded into internment camps.
