It’s another day, which means there is more talk regarding Apple’s next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5. While it’s widely speculated that the iPhone 5 will launch this September or October, reports on the device itself have been mixed (Same form factor, complete redesign, LTE, NFC, etc.). So what is it today? Well according to a report by the WSJ, Apple “has placed orders for key components used in a next-generation iPhone it is preparing to launch sometime in the third quarter.” Additionally, it’s been reported that the iPhone 5 will be a bit thinner and lighter than the current iPhone 4, and feature an 8 mega-pixel camera, which could be considered a substantial upgrade.
