If you haven’t been able to get your hands on a code for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta then fear not as developer Naughty Dog has confirmed the Beta will go public starting today and all you’ll need to get in is a PlayStation 3, an internet connection and accesses to the PlayStation Store. The beta was previously accessible via a voucher code or being a member of PlayStation Plus but now us mere mortals are also being allowed to have a go and there are two name game modes thrown in for good measure.

Everyone can now take the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta for a spin

Yes that’s right, two new game modes for you to get to grips with that go by the name of ‘Team Objective’ and ‘Co-op Hunters’ which join the Team Deathmatch and Free For All modes that were already available to players. However, one thing you are not getting is new maps as it is still just the Airstrip and Chateau maps that have been in the beta since it began so any other multiplayer maps will remain a mystery until the game is released in November 2011.

So if you haven’t already, download the beta and check out the multiplayer of Uncharted 3 while you still can and get a glimpse of what could be the game of the year.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
