Fresh from a showing at E3, THQ has issued an updated fact sheet from the forthcoming Metro: Last Light. Sequel to last year’s Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light throws the player into the midst of a desperate civil war for control over a doomsday device that threatens to destroy humanity forever. THQ is promising that the game will immerse the player in the haunting, desolate ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow and developer 4A Games have showcased an atmospheric single-player adventure that fuses combat with exploration and survival horror to create a very interesting experience.

Below the picture is the fact sheet for the game, straight from the publisher THQ:

The game is due out some time in 2012

Product Description

It is the year 2034. Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within. Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above. But rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever.

As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to our survival – the last light in our darkest hour…

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
