We hit you up with most of the details on the demo a while back, the biggest unknown at that point was what teams would fill out the demo, quarter length and all that. Today, via a live stream Ustream we got filled in on everything else we needed to know. The demo drops nexts Tuesday, June 28th for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The demo will feature four different teams and the chance to unlock five Pro Combat jerseys.

The matchups to be featured in the demo will be Oregon @ Texas and Alabama @ Florida State. The only downside to the demo is that while it will feature four “full” quarters they will be locked at only two minutes per quarter. On a good note in terms of the quality of gameplay, EA Sports will be watching the feedback from the demo and may use that feedback to adjust some gameplay mechanics maybe even before the game drops similar to what they did with Fight Night Champion. With that said, personally I can’t wait for the demo to drop and I am even more excited the full game. I actually kind of like that there is a decent gap between NCAA and Madden this year because once Madden drops I hardly ever pick up NCAA again. So what do you think of the matchups and who are you going to run with in the demo?
