RIM Disappoints By Delaying All 4G BlackBerry PlayBooks And The BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930

Here is a familiar tune – more delays from Research In Motion. Today RIM’s Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis stated on their earnings call that all 4G versions of the BlackBerry Playbook would launch in the fall. That’s exactly, right – not the promised summer launch. This covers the Verizon LTE Playbook, the Sprint WiMAX Playbook, and the HSPA+ Playbook for AT&T.  Additionally, it was confirmed that the previously delayed rumor about the upcoming new BlackBerry Bold are accurate as well. The BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 won’t launch until at least the end of August.

Sure we could rant on about how Research In Motion keeps dropping the ball, but that point has been made enough. With these two commitments broken, we can only say that RIM is doing a good job at making their customers happy (love the sarcasm). So what do you think? Anything to be happy about with these guys?
