If you are like me then you logged on once to PlayStation Home, realized it was full of chumps dancing the robot, crowding around everyone with a female avatar, and promptly logged out again, it may be time to dust off those (virtual) dancing shoes.
From 5pm PST on June 6th, Sony will be broadcasting a lives stream of their E3 press conference in a specially created screening room within the Home space. This will be a great way to watch the conference live and discuss the announcements with like-minded PlayStation folk. And of course spontaneously break into the robot should you so choose.
As well as hosting the stream of the conference itself, starting June 7th PlayStation Home will also play host to a replica of the actual E3 Sony booth, where users will be able to see virtual recreations of everything on display at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, including the NGP (or Vita of course!). After viewing this content, a VIP area will then be unlocked showing new additions to the PlayStation Home experience. This E3 will be an important one for Sony as it attempts to paper over the cracks caused by the hacking situation by showing some hopefully amazing PS3 exclusives and also introducing the world to their new handheld.
