So this is what a lot of you have been waiting to hear, PSN has been back online for online gameplay and chat for almost a week now but you still can’t access the PS Store which means you can’t download your L.A. Noire DLC or buy any new games. Well according to an internal Sony memo acquired by Gamasutra, Sony plans to bring back the PlayStation Store this Tuesday May 24th. For those of you that were wondering how Sony was going to get through that huge backlog of games they have piled up since PSN has been down we have the answer for that too. According to the memo, Sony will release TWO PS Store updates per week for two weeks – rather than the usual one per week – in an effort to work off the excess of games that were supposed to drop. The games will be released in the order they were originally supposed to be released in most cases, but Sony has told developers that they are willing to make adjustments on a case by case basis.
