EA Sports held a developer chat earlier this week and they shared some early info on the demo for NCAA Football 12. We were in and out of it since we were mobile but thanks to the team at Gaming Tailgate we were able to pick up the details. In the demo there will be two different matchups to choose from, meaning 4 different teams in total we assume. Players will have the opportunity to unlock a total of five Nike Pro Combat uniforms through the demo. Last year there were a total of four matchups and you could unlock all of the Pro Combat uniforms, guess EA wants to keep us on our toes. In past years, the demo for NCAA Football has arrived sometime in mid-June and last year it dropped the day before E3 started. Doesn’t look like we are going to get our hands on it that early this year since E3 is a little earlier this year but expect it sometime shortly after E3 this year. E3 2011 runs June 7 through June 9 so most people think the best dates for the demo will be June 14 or June 21 but EA has confirmed nothing on an exact date.
- The demo will feature two separate matchups (total of 4 teams we assume) that will allow players to unlock five Nike Pro-Combat uniforms. Another 5 will be available as part of pre-order packages at GameStop. The caveat to this one though is that the uniforms won’t be available at launch and will be made available at a later date after the game is released to those who pre-ordered.
- No confirmed date for the NCAA Football 12 demo but expected to be after E3, think sometime in the last two weeks of the month.
