If you have ever “rooted” your Android phone then there is a good possibility that you have used CyanogenMod and if you haven’t then you might want to try it. For those of you not familiar, CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware , more commonly known as ROM’s, for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors of these cell phones.
The Android “enhancement” is apparently becoming very popular, with the number the number of downloads of the latest version, CyanogenMod 7 reaching a whooping 220K+ and growing. For those of you that have used it, what do you think?
