iPad 3 Highly Unlikely For A Fall Release, But What About A 4G LTE iPad?

Since the beginning of the year, and maybe before that, rumors have been swirling around an iPad 3 launch this upcoming fall. Today, reports gathered from Chinese part suppliers are stating that those rumors are inaccurate. We often thought that an iPad released in the Fall of 2011, would be an iPad of minimal upgrades to the iPad 2. However, as Digitimes reports:

Sources from touch panel makers pointed out that Apple recently released its latest tablet PC plan and is asking the panel makers to provide products that are capable to support higher image quality than the current iPad 2 and Apple may even choose AMOLED panel or panel that support Full HD standard to accomplish the plan. However, since the project is still at the initial planning stage, the actual products are unlikely to appear in 2011.

Where does that leave us? Maybe a 4G/LTE iPad in the fall. 9to5Mac reports, “The Chinese sources state that if a new iPad does happen to arrive during fall 2011 that it will be a minimal upgrade; perhaps a new version that “supports different communication format.” Couple that with reports of Verizon’s and Apple’s commitment to LTE, that rumor does not seem farfetched.

So what do you think? Is it possible to have a 4G LTE iPad this Fall? Will you purchase one? Hit up the comments and let us know!
