Apple iPhone 5 Still Scheduled For A June Launch … Hmmm, Let’s Just Wait And See

I guess we can always count on having our emotions turn upside down when it comes to Apple’s next generation products. After debating whether or not to post this, I’ve almost come to the conclusion that waiting until Apple announces it, is the best. However, if you are in the market for a new smartphone, it forces you to wait a few months for something that may not happen.

So what is the latest leak, or shall we say rumor? Apple still plans to release the iPhone 5 this summer. For those who like specifics, the fourth week of June 2011. But I thought they were only talking about software at the WWDC 2011.

According to ETNews, the “iPhone 5,’ the next model of iPhone 4, will be released on the coming 4th week of June. In the midst of the iPhone 5 postponement rumors, Apple has confirmed that iPhone 5 will be released as planned and it will be released simultaneously in Korea through SK Telecom and KT.”

Additionally, it’s being reported that Apple’s Steve Jobs, will hold a special event outside of WWDC 2011 to make the announcement. I got to tell you, all of this sounds far-fetched, but since we all want this to happen anyway, we’ll cheer along. What do you think?
